About the BRT Victoria
The purpose of the BRT is to afford forward thinking, industry-leading business owners a regular opportunity (bi-weekly) to network with other like-minded business owners, sharing information, ideas, growth strategies and business REFERRALS with one another. While there are no quotas or hard and fast rules regarding the frequency and number of referrals given or received by any member, the intent is to develop a cohesive, trusting group that serves as a source of referrals for one another. When a business referral is given from one member to another, it should only be given when the referral is solid and the prospect is expecting to hear from the team member receiving the referral. Members share a firm belief in the motto that Together Everyone Achieves More. We possess a collective desire to advance our businesses and we value the unparalleled power of networking with other like-minded entrepreneurs. Membership is limited to one representative per business category or profession.
Given that membership is limited to one member from each business category, members are strongly encouraged to attend each bi-weekly meeting. If you are unable to attend, you are encouraged to arrange for a substitute to attend on behalf of your business. Alternately, you may contact an existing Member and have him/her present an infomercial or testimonial on your behalf. Members are strongly encouraged to make a sincere commitment to BRT for a full term (Winter/Spring and/or Fall).
Members are encouraged to invite potential members from unrepresented business categories to the meetings. Candidates will be subject to a review of their business practices by a Membership Committee comprised of 3 existing members, elected from among the membership.
