Raised and schooled in Victoria, upon graduation from High School, Ken began a 28-year career with Canada Safeway, the last 12 years as Assistant Store Manager.  During his years with Safeway, he worked in Victoria, Duncan and Port Alberni. 

In 1988 he decided it was time for a career change, and entered the Insurance business with Aetna Life.  A year later Aetna became the Equinox Financial Group Marketing Centre and Ken became the Sales Manager in Victoria. The marketing centre is now known as LifePlan Financial Group.

Ken is the Marketing Director for Living Benefits and Employee Benefits.  He specializes in Business Insurance (Business Succession Planning, Buy-Sell) as well as Disability Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and Employee Benefits.

Ken is very involved with Community work, having just served two years as President of the Kiwanis Club of Oak Bay.  He continues to serve as Manager of the Kiwanis Tea Room at Willows Beach which is open from April to September.
